Catch It! Stop the Hair Loss

When seeing a functional medical doctor (try to get to the root cause of your issue), ask them for these tests:

  1. Comprehensive blood analysis test (complete blood count, analyze the kidney, lipid and blood cells amenities, liver, and vitamin D levels)

  2. Dutch complete hormone panels (adrenal problems, low energy, and imbalance)

  3. GI Map Analysis (comprehensive stool test will give the results of the presence of microorganisms, yeast, parasites, or bacteria)

  4. Food and Chemical Sensitivity (expensive $600+) or Autoimmune Protocol eliminate everything you know that is a trigger, such as eggs, dairy, wheat, gluten, sugar, and nightshade vegetables. Pinpoint that these are the problem and eliminate them from your diet.

  5. Comprehensive Organic Acid Test shows how your detoxication pathways, neurotransmitter breakdown, and intestinal microbial activity are up to par.

We want to continue encouraging you to stay healthy from the inside out. Stop the hair loss and look into yourself to see what is happening within your body. A lot of times, we want the next best thing, like creams, oils, and serums that would be the next best thing. I, too, am someone who looks at the popular trends, but I have to be careful about what will affect my crown. Everyone is different, and what works for one may not work for another person.

Just recently, I had a flare-up. My hair was thinning in my crown area. I had tingling, pin needles sensations, and itching. I wash my hair every week, so I knew it wasn't that my hair was dirty. So what could it be? I had changed product use, implemented inflammatory foods back into my diet, and my job was stressful. Oh, no, what am I doing? Working at my job for so many hours, I had a lack of rest and a poor diet with no exercise or at least very little because I was so tired. My family ate out because I was too tired to cook. Uh, oh. To continue, I decided to stop using my hair soap and rinse as I had done before and traded them in for black soap and a hair scrub soap. What in the world was I doing to myself?

These were all kinds of red flags. I ran right into the disaster zone. After growing my hair out for those three years and strengthening my scalp, I was taken back to bald spots, hair loss, and a painful scalp. So now, I am going back to my notes, and routines, which entail, eating a healthy diet, (including smoked salmon daily, limiting processed foods, and foods that I have no idea are of good quality or not), using red light therapy, using my hair soap and hair tonic, vitamin e oil, destressing, and resting appropriately.

Eating out does not always produce good quality food (some of the items are highly processed or of low quality). Paying more attention to the gut and your health will benefit you more than the topical solutions. I noticed that when I ate more nuts (pecans, walnuts, pumpkin seeds), smoked salmon, and chickpeas, my hair was thicker and thrived more. I also had more energy, and my skin was radiant.

The key point is to know yourself and see the red flags. Strongly stop using things or having routines that are a detriment to your health. It starts from within.

What are your current routines, products, and diet like? Have you noticed any changes due to your routines?
